Welcome to the Bailliage de San Diego Chapter!
The San Diego Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Bailliage is quite active with close to 90 members, plus a full schedule of dinners and Mondiale events throughout the year. Our Bailli (President) works closely with the local sommeliers, chefs, and chapter officers to determine the time, date, location, and menu for our events. The San Diego Chapter has been active hosting events and supporting young chefs, enologists, and the culinary community for more than 30 Years, this includes providing scholarships to many if these young and inspired culinarians within the community.
Our San Diego Bailliage unites industry professionals, including many of San Diego’s finest chefs and culinary professionals, with amateur gourmands by participating in and promoting the culinary arts. Based on the great traditions and high standards of the medieval French guild of rôtisseurs or “meat roasters,” our confrérie (society) focuses on celebrating the pleasures of the table.
